Deborah Leonard, 1st Grade Assistant

My name is Deborah Leonard and I am Mrs. Young’s 1st grade assistant teacher. This is my 26th year at ACS and my 37th year in Education. I was a teacher in public school, before coming to ACS, where I was the 2nd grade teacher for 16 years and 2nd grade Religion teacher for 18 years. I transitioned to being an assistant , after that.

I graduated from MUW, with a Bachelor of Science. I have 3 daughters who attended ACS, then St. Mary’s. I have one grandson here,  David in 7th.

I love teaching children and absolutely love working with Mrs. Young! I am looking forward to another great 1st grade year!
